Gandhi Jayanti Week
To observe the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, Mumbai and Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya, celebrate Gandhi Jayanti Week from 2nd to 8th October. During this period The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi conducts various programmes like spinning, recitation of prayers, a competition of patriotic songs and a solo singing competition for teachers. Seminars on a wide variety of subjects are conducted. There is also a Khadi Exhibition-cum-sale.
